Gentle exercise for the winter

You’re thinking that because it’s nearly Christmas, you may as well not bother starting, because you’ll only put weight on over the festive period. But really, you know deep down that this is just a delay tactic and that even after Christmas, you find another excuse not to start exercising.
Then there’s the physical barrier to break. You need to decide what kind of exercise you want to do. At this time of year, you don’t really fancy getting your tracksuit on and going for a jog after work.
But yoga is the perfect start. It is designed to improve your fitness, your muscles and your posture but it is very gentle and relaxing at the same time.
