You don’t have to be in a gym to do a quick workout. In fact, with yoga, you can stretch and work your muscles no matter where you are. You simply need to have a few yoga poses in mind and you can pretty much do them anywhere.

For example, you could do them on a quiet day on the beach, you could do them after a picnic in the park and you can even do your yoga in your lunch break at work.

There are plenty of ways to get fit, but normally a fitness regime will fall in to one of two categories; cardio work and weights.

Cardio exercise is great for raising your heart rate while weights are designed to build your strength.

Circuit training is a fast paced way to exercise and it involves lots of different exercises being carried out in a short space of time. The great thing about circuit training is that every set of muscles is worked and that means that after a circuit training session, you will feel great.

You can do everything on your iPhone these days; even get fit! Because Adidas has just launched a mobile app that can measure your heart rate, distance and speed.

The app follows on from the miCoach range which can measure your distance and speed and connect to any MP3 player or sound source so you can listen to your favourite music while you are getting fit.

With gadgets such as these constantly being released into the market, it’s difficult to think of any excuses as to why we are not exercising.

It has become easy and convenient to exercise. So now, there are no excuses.
